PADI Open Water Diver program
During you PADI Open Water Diver course you will learn the use of diving equipment‚ how to plan and perform real dives and how to prevent and manage problems. The PADI Open Water Diver course is divided into three main parts:
- Knowledge Development (online with individual study or in classroom)‚ to understand the basic principles of diving.
- Five lessons in confined waters‚ where you will learn the basic skills of diving.
- Four lessons in open waters‚ to revise your skills and explore.
PADI Open Water Diver Equipment

PADI Open Water Diver Prerequisites
Being at least 15 years old.
Credit/Certification PADI Open Water Diver
If you successfully complete your PADI Open Water Diver course you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver certificate. The PADI Open Water Diver certifcation allows you to dive up to a maximum depth of 18m in pairs.
